Immune Boost Tea is a gentle immune strengthening blend that can be helpful with preventative support during the cold and flu season.
Ingredients: Elderberries*, Echinacea Purpurea Root*, Astragalus Root*, Rosehips*, Ginger*, Elderflowers*, Echinacea Purpurea Leaf*
Flavour – This Artisan Tea Blend has a robust earthy flavour with some sweet notes from the Elder and Astragalus and a mildly spiced Ginger finish. It is a gentle flavour that really starts to grow on you the more you drink it.
Hot Infusions – Hot water is poured over herbs and allowed to steep for 5-15 minutes. Strain and serve. Strength is determined by the amount of herb used, typically 15-20g per 500ml of water.
Decoction – Lightly simmer herbs in water, just below boiling for 20-60 mins. Strain and serve. Typically 20-25g of tea per 500ml of water is used. Easily prepared in a pot on the stove.
Uses – We enjoy blending it up with a little coconut oil and honey into a frothy elixir base during the winter months. It makes a nice soup, smoothie or tonic drink base during any type of lowered immune system issues.
